Thank God for friends...
They are what help us laugh through the ups and downs of everything in life. For us, it has been instrumental in parenting.
When we started having kids, a bunch of our friends would meet at our local pub and sit down to a cold beer and let the stories fly! What happened at school or we forgot to send in with our kids. What horrific potty disaster we faced that day. Each story would end with, "Oh yeah, 'Mother of the Year' for that one!
It became our thing. It helped us laugh at ourselves, realize we weren't alone and we are awesome moms...just real ones.
